wedding of ahsan & nazifa

Ahsan and Nazifa went to the same high school, but they never really got to know each other despite working together one whole summer. 

 

When Ahsan graduated from Lafayette College and came to Yale, he visited Mount Holyoke College but did not make an effort to meet up with Nazifa. Nazifa was at Mount Holyoke then, and of course her professional ego was hurt; so she decided to give Ahsan a piece of her mind on Facebook. Ahsan, being a true gentleman, later drove up to Mount Holyoke to apologize with a trunk full of chips, ice cream and popcorn after a stressful work week. Not long afterward, they decided to date on October 14, 2013. 

 

Then began the long saga of Ahsan making brave (?) attempts to woo Nazifa with Broadway shows, flashing lights saying "I love Nazifa," hand-made wooden eisels for Nazifa's painting, and letters that said very little. Fortunately, Nazifa cooked him good food, humored his antics and stayed up really late to keep his spirits up while he attempted to win his fair lady's heart. Without Nazifa making the sacrifices in accepting all the cheesecake Ahsan threw at her, this website would not have been. You are welcome.

 

Once their parents found out, they loved the idea of Ahsan and Nazifa so much that they organized an engagement on December 27, 2014. Ever since, Ahsan is trying to believe his good fortune and Nazifa is trying to worm her way into planning her own wedding.
